You can now register online for your visa application in the Consular Services Portal. As soon as the competent mission abroad is able to review your application, you will receive a notification. The portal will also inform you which documents are required for your application.

Duration

To process the visa, your documents will be sent to the Federal Employment Agency and the local Aliens' Authority in Germany. These authorities must approve the visa issue.

Therefore, the processing time is often five to six weeks or longer after all documents are complete. The processing time depends heavily on the capacity utilisation of the authorities in Germany.

You should therefore submit your visa application well in advance!

Fees

The processing fee is FCFA 50,000 and must be paid when the application is submitted.
If the application is rejected or withdrawn, the fee will not be refunded!
