National visas
The national visa grants authorisation to enter the country for a long-term stay and for a specific purpose. It is usually issued for 90 days, in certain cases up to one year. After entering the country, you must immediately make an appointment at the local Aliens' Authority to apply for your residence permit.
Where do I have to submit my application?
The embassy in Dakar is responsible for your visa application for a national visa if you have your permanent residence in Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau or Cabo Verde.
