You can apply for your visa online via the Consular Services Portal. You will receive feedback from us as to whether your documents are complete. You can amend and correct documents directly. Your appointment at the Embassy in Dakar will then be quick and efficient: you show your original documents, submit your biometric data (fingerprints and photograph) and pay the fee.

To start the application, you must enter your country of residence. Please enter Senegal, even if you live in Gambia, Guinea-Bissau or Cabo Verde. We are currently working on a technical solution for this.

Important Notice for Appointment Booking:

Your application will first be digitally pre-checked. If all documents are complete and in order, you can book a prioritized online appointment. These appointments can be made free of charge. Be aware of scammers offering appointments! They are acting with malintent!

Online appointments can only be booked by those individuals who have already submitted a digitally pre-checked application with us and received a corresponding positive notification from the Embassy. We would like to explicitly point out that those who come to us without digital pre-checking will be rejected systematically, without exception. Please consider the costs associated with long travel and disappointment, and avoid unnecessary extra costs. Applicants who appear without a pre-checked application will be blocked from making any further appointments, even if all documents are provided at a later time.
